Prior to joining Agility in 2006, Naomichi Iida worked at Yasuda Trust & Banking (currently Mizuho Trust & Banking) and Mizuho Securities for over 10 years. He specialised in securitisation of real estate and its related business and was involved in the M&A business, focusing on large-scale real estate companies. His main M&A Advisory experience includes KDDI and Hamamatsu ACT Tower Complex. He was one of the key members of the “Osaka Naniwaza” commerce facility project which was known as the first deal in Japan that executed a development-type securitisation of real estate. Additionally, he developed the MAP (Multi Asset Program) scheme, in collaboration with Shinsei Bank. He has played a key role in the business of real estate securitisation in Japan and has dealt with over JPY500b worth of assets during his career.
Mitsuru Shimizu
Senior Asset Manager, Agility Japan
Mitsuru Shimizu is an Asset Manager at Agility since 2012. With over 10 years of experience in Asset Management (AM) and Property Management (PM), he has succeeded in raising up occupancy rates and NOI. He has worked for Mitsui Fudosan Building Management, where he managed office in the main three wards as a PM. After his PM career, he joined CBRE Residential Management, which is the asset management company of a J-REIT. He had the responsibility of managing 34 properties and over JPY80 billion asset size for New City Residence Corporation Investment (currently Daiwa House REIT Corporation Investment).
Hiroyuki Kato

Hiroyuki Kato joined Agility in 2019 after coming back from Shanghai, China, where he had engaged in management of an insurance brokerage house, overseas trading arms of a Japanese listed company as well as a corporate finance department of Mizuho Bank (China). He started his career at The Industrial Bank of Japan and had engaged in relationship management with international institutions, sovereign borrowers, Fortune 500 corporations and international banks. Based on his 16-year overseas career, he covers wide-ranged services such as trade and project finance, capital market, securitization, business revitalization, FDI advisory, credit insurance and risk management consulting.
Lee Tang Keat
Director, Head of Business Development, Agility Fund Management
Tang Keat (TK) is the Head of Business Development for Agility Fund Management. TK has over 20 years of experience in Investment Advisory, Fund & Asset Management, and Auctions & Facility Management. Previously at JLL for a period of 10 years, he held positions as Head of Auction (Singapore) and Head of Industrial (Vietnam), overseeing the establishment of JLL Vietnam’s industrial and commercial departments. TK is also the Country Head of Vietnam for Agility.
Nicholas Foo
Chief Executive Officer, Agility Fund Management
Nicholas is the Chief Executive Officer of Agility Fund Management with overall responsibility for investment, management, and strategy across the group. Highly experienced with over 15 years of banking and investment experience, he has numerous achievements under his belt. Some of them include overseeing over US$3bn of AUM across Greenfield developments, core/core-plus funds investment, and debt instruments within the Asia region. He previously held a leadership role in an SGX-listed company and a boutique private equity firm in which his key responsibility was investment structuring, fundraising, asset management, and investor relationship. Nicholas is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and is also the Director of CKS Property Consultants Pte Ltd and Agility Asset Management.
Kinji Kaiho
Group Chief Executive Officer, Agility Japan
Kinji Kaiho is the Group Chief Executive Officer for Agility Japan. He has over 30 years of experience in investment banking, advisory, real estate asset management, and financing. He founded Agility Asset Advisers (part of the PhillipCapital Group) in 2005 and launched the Nippon REIT (listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange) in 2014. He has led over 200 securitisation projects and participated in numerous cross-border transactions. He has led and managed numerous project financing deals in China including Beijing World Trade Center, Shanghai Portsman Hotel and Guangzhou Garden Hotel. Kinji Kaiho is also the Chief Executive Officer for Agility Asset Management and non-executive director for Agility Fund Management.
